Jephsons has been using Parker PR as our bolt-on PR and Marketing Department for several years now. They handle virtually every aspect of our marketing, PR and some business development. We brought them in to improve the way we made our offer to the market and by working very closely with us at many levels, they have helped Jephsons transform the way we approach our marketing and are seen by existing and new customers alike.

Working with them basically means handing over our advertising, media coverage and management of our website to them so we are freed up to get on with what we do best – being a leading interior fit-out company.

The results that they have achieved on our behalf have made a significant impact on the company. With their help, we have won new clients that have made a substantial difference to our profits over the years and as we work hard to satisfy and retain those clients, we expect those positive impacts to be felt for some time to come.

Jephsons is pleased to be working with Parker PR and recommends them highly for the work they do on our behalf.

Ian Jephson, Commercial Director, Nigel Schofield, Operations Director, Jephsons Shopfitters Ltd, 2017

We worked with Parker PR for 15 months on a PR and marketing campaign that was geared towards growing our customer base and putting us in front of more potential clients. They took care of our advertising, media PR and were influential in the design of our new website. We received media coverage on regional TV and radio and well as in trade, regional and local press.

In addition to that, they worked on contacting new customers and arranging meetings at which we could pitch for business. As a direct result of the work Parker PR did for Style Uniforms we added £131,000 to our bottom line and the clients are still with us so that figure is set to grow.

Parker PR did a great job for us while we worked with them and I have no problem in recommending them to anyone who wants to grow their business.

Damian Dugdale, Director, Garmentec Group, 2017

I had social media training with Graham of Parker PR to help manage the social media profile for Wessex Archaeology in Sheffield. As someone who doesn’t use social media on a personal basis, I was quite lost as to how to use Twitter to promote the work that Wessex Archaeology does. Graham demonstrated how it could be used to build good relationships with our clients, and helped us shape our social media strategy.

I was given many tips and tricks, and shown how to use Twitter and associated platforms for managing social media that have proved invaluable. I would thoroughly recommend Graham for all your social media requirements, he is knowledgeable, friendly, and excels at identifying the needs of the client and target audience.

Graham always manages to work his magic when it comes to understanding what a business is truly about, and can with the use of images and text, get the message across to existing and potential customers. I have used him on two occasions when I needed help to promote two of my businesses. Both times he worked closely with me to understand what I wanted and needed to say to customers, he then came up with copy and images that were spot on.

Graham became the first guest speaker at a monthly networking group which I organise on behalf of Hart Shaw. His presentation on PR crisis management was professionally delivered, engaged the room well and created some great discussion points afterwards. Graham used real life examples of local businesses that had experienced a crisis and how this was managed (or mis-managed), highlighting the importance of developing a contingency plan and having professional advice on hand should the unthinkable happen.

Graham recently delivered his Social Media, the Big Picture seminar to our Entrepreneurs’ Forum business networking group.  He was engaging, interesting, knowledgeable, professional as well as funny. The feedback from our audience demonstrated that he had enlightened their business potential and given them a greater understanding, without being too technical, as to how they should be using social media more effectively. Thoroughly enjoyable delivery and very productive content.

I just wanted to say thank you for the PR work you have done for me.  I am aware there have been articles on me in the Birmingham Post and Express and Star.  This has led to a massive influx of people following me on Twitter and has generated other leads too!

I like to keep physical copies of articles and e-copies of articles if I can.  Do you know if it has been anywhere else?

Thanks again and I hope there will be other opportunities to work together in the future.

Matthew Carr, Training Director, Blindability. 2013

Our Transforming Social Care Programme Manager recommended Graham Parker to present a marketing approach to service providers focussing on the impending impact that the move to personal budgets will have on the provider market place. Delegates were impressed by the content of the presentation and the professional delivery. Graham was easy to work with and I very much appreciated his efforts to keep hotel and travel costs to a minimum!

I have no hesitation in recommending his services."

Rick Tarrant, Southampton City Council, Commissioning for Choice, 2011

Enable-Solihull is a disability organisation, working with service users, service providers and statutory bodies in Solihull. Part of our work is to support providers of social care services to prepare for Personalisation; this includes providing a series of workshops focusing on various aspects of Personalisation. Organisations had requested guidance on how to best market themselves in the new climate of Personalisation.

Graham has worked with many charity and third sector organisations and thoroughly understands the needs of the sector, as well as the threats. He offered lots of realistic, practical advice about changes organisations could make. I would recommend this workshop to any other organisation that will be affected by the changes that the Personalisation Agenda is bringing, particularly organisations from the third sector.

Kay Donaghy, Project Manager, Enable Solihull, 2010

What can I say about the man.... after all he's the 'wordsmith'... and a very good one too. Working with Graham is a pleasure as he is one PR person who knows the business of looking after his clients needs. He not only sells a service, he gives a solution. A great guy to be around, he gives nothing but 100%. All the clients we have worked with have massive respect for his work. Best regards to him and all of his clients old and new.

Graham has helped raise the profile of North Star Signs on many occasions. Graham is a true professional who really has the ability to get your important message out there. I would highly recommend Parker PR if you have a passion to grow your company.

Gary Chester, MD, North Star Signs, 2010

I have known and worked alongside Graham Parker for many years, and have seen many of his marketing projects being delivered in a large cross selection of businesses through out the North East of England. Graham's personal drive and ambition comes through in all of his work which is of the highest professional standard. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to use Parker PR as a first rate PR and Marketing company.

Alban Kissane, MD, You Know Business Solutions, 2010

We needed someone to help us develop an imaginative focus for an important project. Parker PR quickly tuned in to our needs, developed an action plan and delivered on time. We really appreciated the way they handled some sensitive issues and the resulting DVD has been used extensively to promote our work. As a busy manager I needed to be able to trust someone to work without close scrutiny and Graham Parker was able to do that whilst keeping me in the picture at key moments.

Des Charles, Service Manager, Safeguarding Children Service, Sheffield City Council, 2009

Through your PR activity the business community in our area has experienced a significant positive increase in profile. In particular the increase in media coverage has been excellent. You have helped deliver a successful project which has gained local, regional and national recognition and contributed to the regeneration of the area. What's more, we were presented with a PR award for your work from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations for the project - thank you so much for your work.

John Barber, Partnership & Regeneration Manager, Business in the Community, 2009

I feel that the whole campaign has been a great success and that it has more than fulfilled our expectations. You clearly grasped what was required from this campaign, namely to raise our profile in the region and to generate a positive media image for the company in order to foster goodwill towards us from the community. The campaign did exactly this in a cost-effective way and with minimal disruption. I was very impressed with your enthusiasm and ability to make things happen. I have received many comments from people who have clearly noticed the publicity generated. This appears to have had an impact far greater than I anticipated.

Robert Hill, Director, Imperial Laundry, 2008

I want to thank you for solving the biggest problem I have come across in six years of business: how to get content from clients for our websites. I recently used your services on a client's website which I've been waiting to complete for over 12 months. The client consistently failed to provide the content I needed. You met with the client, interviewed him and provided me with superbly written copy. You then produced a second batch and then a third, this time within 60 minutes of me asking for a revision.

I am genuinely more than impressed with your services and I will continue to recommend you to my clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Paul Campbell, Managing Director, Effective Internet, 2008

I write to thank you for your recent assistance in regard to rewording of my website. Although it is common to outsource the design, the wording is usually left up to the owner of the business. A person who knows exactly what they want the site to say, but absolutely no idea how to phrase what they are thinking. This was no different for myself. After trying I ended up with 2000 words that meant little, so I handed it over to you.

What you created from my brief is an easy to read, sales orientated website. You have crafted it so that it is both descriptive and technical whilst being succinct and interesting. The words seem to flow when you read them, which will keep people interested. I thank you again for your help and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in a similar situation in future.

When we launched Patley Homes we wanted to work with like minded people who shared our values and had a commitment to high quality service. We approached Parker PR because we had worked with them before and they had never let us down. We needed a wide variety of promotional services including media relations, graphic design, print, advertising and event management. They took care of the whole planning and launch, working with us all the way. They secured the services of Linda Barker and maximised her value to in the media and in our promotional material. We would have no problem at all in recommending Parker PR as providers of first-class PR services.

Steve Patania, Director, Patley Homes, 2007

My clients are discerning people who value high quality services and are reassured by presentation that reflects their taste and aspirations. As a provider of bespoke services and furniture it is important to me that our website communicates not only the high quality of our provision but also that it speaks the same language as our customers. I was recommended to use Parker PR to write the content of the site and am delighted with the results. The writing is articulate, accurate to the facts and expressive in such a way it is easy to understand. I would not hesitate to employ their services again.

Joe Della-Porta, Director, Della-Porta Design www.della-porta.co.uk, 2007

When we opened our new conference and hospitality centre we needed a marketing campaign that included a launch event, VIP management, promotional material production, media relations and continuing strategic advice - Parker PR provided everything we could have asked for and more. We have worked with them for over a year now and are highly satisfied in the way they support our business with first-class services.
