The new Drive-to Costa on St. Peter’s Retail Park was handed over on September 6th and opened for business on the 8th after a 17-day shell-to-handover fit out. Jephsons first started working with Costa Coffee, the UK’s biggest coffee brand in 2010, when it became one of only five approved interior fit-out providers in the UK for the Whitbread owned company.

The St. Peter’s Retail Park café has 90 interior and 32 exterior covers so customer can choose to sit outside while taking a break from shopping in the open air if they wish. The café sports Costa’s new Janus Style interior design which features a duck egg blue finish to the serving counter, light fittings and some of the seating.

According to Jephsons’ Project Manager, Mark Betteley, the whole project went as smoothly as possible, leaving the client delighted at the point of handing over the keys.

“We had a team of two joiners on the project from start to finish and I have to say the quality and end result is possibly the best I’ve seen. We handed the café over completely snag-free with the New Stores Opening Manager from Costa saying it was one of the smoothest and easiest handovers he had ever been involved with,” said Mark.

Jordan Waites is the newly appointed Manager at the St. Peter’s Retail Park Costa and says that the new store has received a really positive response from shoppers; “We have had lots of comments from customers saying how much they like the bright, light and airy interior of the store,” said Jordan.

Jephsons services customers all over the UK from its offices and workshops just off Hermitage Lane in Mansfield. It has been providing interior fit out services for big name brands such as KFC, Pizza Express and Costa Coffee for nearly 60 years with its team of 40 plus joiners and fitters.

“We benchmark all of our work on quality and believe in maintaining high standards for our clients, that’s why we are still in business and keeping globally recognised brand managers happy. With an ever increasing order book we are always on the lookout for experienced joiners and fitters to complement our existing team, so if you think you can match our standards, please get in touch,” said Jephsons Operations Director, Nigel Schofield.
